Lauren’s new favorite butter cookies recipe from her cake decorating classes with LuAnn. These are awesome. She uses the same buttercream frosting for cupcakes made a little thinner than you would for decorating cupcakes, as cookies are thinner pipings, etc., or you can also use a bucket of decorating icing from Amazon or your local hobby shop.
CREAM:
- 2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
ADD:
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. butter flavor
STIR IN:
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Chill dough, as it will be sticky. Cut out cookies and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes
