We use this as a glaze for grilled meats and it is really good on biscuits as well.  But we also serve it as a side for a dipping sauce on meats from lamb to beef.

    Marge & Mim’s Pepper Jelly straight from Mimsy:

    6 1/2 cups sugar
    1 1/2 cups vinegar
    2 large green bell peppers
    8 jalapenos
    1/2 dash salt
    2 envelopes Certo
    Green food coloring

    **we used 12 jalapenos and 7 habaneros in ours**

    Roast the jalapenos and peel before putting them in the food processor.
    De-seed and find grind or blenderize jalapenos.
    De-seed and grind or blenderize bell peppers.
    Combine all ingredients and fast boil for 5 minutes.
    (May need a hair dryer to keep the foam down)
    Remove from heat and add Certo.
    Boil 1 minute more.
    Add green food coloring.
