Dulce de leche is becoming increasingly popular throughout the world. Multinational companies like Starbucks and Haagen Dazs have embraced the milk caramel like sauce and have incorporated dulce de leche into their own products. Dulce de leche is a popular ingredient in candies, cakes, cookies and most noteably alfajores. But as Haagen-Dazs can attest too, dulce de leche is an excellent ingredient for ice cream. The dulce de leche ice cream recipe below is a relatively easy and delicious way to satisfy any dulce de leche fans craving.

Ingredients Needed
450 grams of San Ignacio dulce de leche
1 can of condensed milk,
1 can of single cream
2 egg whites beaten until stiff
1 envelop of unflavored gelatin
1 cup of water


Preparation
Dissolve the gelatin in a cup of heated water. Next, stir San Ignacio dulce de leche with condensed milk, single cream and dissolved gelatin. Then, add the egg whites beaten until stiff folding softly. Put in the freezer and serve in sundae dishes, accompanied with cookies or alfajores.
