Bozeman.  This Montana mountain town is no secret, but it still offers an authentic taste of the American West at its finest.  And get it while you still can, because it’s changing rapidly with growth and development.  A charming downtown of independent boutiques, bistros, and bars sits comfortably alongside old saloons, rodeos, and the rugged history of the valley. It’s a place where the modern West and the old one coexist without much fuss, each adding something to the character of the town.

College students and ski bums share the streets with cowboys and ranch hands, while backpackers and bikers cross paths with farmers, anglers, and hunters. They come from different walks of life, but they share an appreciation for the mountains and the wide-open country that defines Montana.  Whatever brings you to Bozeman, there is plenty to explore, from fishing and hunting to skiing at Big Sky or Bridger Bowl, or simply hiking the familiar “M” Trail above town.   But Bozeman also has a number of excellent farm stands.   Our favorite is: https://www.facebook.com/p/Skinny-Legs-n-Eggs-Farm-61561902714563/

Here is an opportunity to take home farm fresh eggs, produce and more in order to prepare meals after your days spent afield or astream, or just poking around town.
