Steffie’s Skinny Smoothie because nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.
Makes 64 Oz (size of my Vitamix blender filled to the rim), enough to fill 3 of my 22 Oz shaker bottles.
2 containers of muscle milk or premier protein shake as my liquid base (25-30 g of protein per container -vanilla or chocolate flavor preferred, I use chocolate)
Stuff container 2/3 full with Costco Power Greens/Brussels sprouts (I like the Ready Veggies from Trader Joe’s too, I dump the whole bag in there)
1 scoop of Flaxseed
1 scoop of hemp hearts
1 squirt of MCT oil
1 small avocado
1 handful of nuts
1 jalapeno
1 large piece of ginger
A handful of berries
A handful of baby carrots (when I know you are not drinking it)
Some kind of sweet fruits (mango, peach, cantaloupe, watermelon, whatever is in season that I have on hand)
2-4 Medjool dates (as a sweetener if I don’t have any seasonal sweet fruits)
I add cooked beets sometimes
If it gets too thick, add water to thin it out
