Stuffed French Toast

Prepare this the night before and refrigerate. In the morning bake and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Brioche Loaf – sliced into 12 slices (croissants can be substituted)
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 lb. Cream Cheese
  • ½ c. Canadian Grade A maple syrup
  • 1 ½ c. milk
  • ½ t. vanilla

Preparation:

1. Mix milk, eggs, vanilla and maple syrup together.  Add a dash of cinnamon.

2. Place half the bread in a greased round soufflé dish.

3. Spoon the cream cheese on to the bread in cubes.

4. Cover with half of the liquid batter.

5. Place the remaining bread on top, and pour the balance of the liquid batter on top.

6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

7. Cook in a 375 degree preheated oven for 45 minutes.
