Thai Peanut-Dipping Sauce for Fondue

This is a recipe adapted from The Melting Pot, Dip Into Something Different, which is a great book for fondue recipes.

INGREDIENTS

  • ½         c. orange juice
  • ¼         c. Chinese plum sauce
  • ¼         c. crunchy peanut butter
  • 1          tbsp. finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1          tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1          tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1          tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1          tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1          tbsp. ginger
  • 1          tsp. sugar
  • ½         tsp. French sea salt
  • ½         c. peanut oil
  • 2          tsp. peanut oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients except peanut oil and sesame oil in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add the oil and process constantly until smooth.
