This delicious garlic sauce is used as a condiment with fallafel, fowl, meat or vegetables in the manner of mint sauce, horseradish or ketchup.

  • 1 large heads of garlic, peeled
  • 1 egg
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 T. fresh dill

Place the garlic cloves, egg and slat in a blender then blend for a few moments.  With the motor running, slowing pour in the olive oil and continue blending for one minute until creamy-looking sauce is formed.  Add lemon juice and dill and blend for a few seconds more.

Place in a container with a tight fitting lid and refrigerate until ready to use.
