goosWildfowling for goose can be anything from shooting wetlands and corn fields to coastal marshes in the UK.  And there is just a relatively decreasing number harvested each year.  The Canadian goose was a popular decorative creature for parks and estates, and now verging on over-population.  The birds can be good eating, especially the smaller ones which make great kebabs.  The older, tougher birds make great jerky.
